Tree Pruning Time

So Saturday Keith and I had the opportunity to prune the apple tree over at mom and dads house. It was my very first pruning experience and I rather enjoyed it. I did not however enjoy my experience with the pruning shears, as I received several blood blisters by the nasty lil' things! Voici, I have proof!

Here's before I dissected my thumb:

And here's after:

And... Here's the remains:

It was quite educational. And the best thing about it~ I only got woozy and light headed a couple times! I think I'm getting better with blood and icky things. Yay! =)

Halloween

Ok, so I realize that I'm a week late on posting these but I just wanted to show you all how cute we were at work on Halloween. It was a lot of fune and I thought we did really well on our costumes for how much was spent on them.

Here's the whole group (minus the gal who didn't dress up with us).

And here is a picture of my buddy Sarah. We've got the 'touched by an angel' effect going on here.

Aren't we cute?

Company

It's official, Gina has moved in... Well for the next 3 weeks anyway until she gets married on the 24th. She's only been here for 2 days and it seems things have already gotten to another level of crazy. But I love it! She's so much fun and also, like me is a "at the last minute" kind of person thus there's loads to do until the big day. Hopefully we can manage to squeeze everything in.

Friday, Holly and Ryan will come for their open house on Saturday.

Brandon, Gina's fiance should be arriving at our house sometime around then too.

Then on the 24th, my cousin Clay will be staying with us for 5 days or so.

Hopefully this will prove the old adage of 'company being a lot like fish,' false. But we'll see! =)

My new blog!

So here's my new blog. I just created it at work today so it's not too exciting just yet. But hey at least I have one.

So last night I was eating dinner while sitting on the couch and apparently the dogs were hungry cuz Bitsy wouldn't get out of my face. I told her to sit which she did and then she continued her begging. Then all of a sudden she started doing all these tricks. She'd lay down and roll over and dance in a circle without me telling her to or anything. She was sure hoping for some of my chicken alfredo. It was so cute and so funny. Who would've thought that dogs can be so entertaining?

Is she a smart dog? I think so... =)

Meet the Jones'

Here are my kids... Thus far I have 2, a boy and a girl. They're adorable lil' things and we love 'em very much!

This is Bitsy. She's about 7 months old (and not very itsy bitsy anymore if ya know what I mean).

And this is Narf when he was a baby. Now he's 2 years old! My goodness how they grow!

Bitsy loves playin in the bubbles! She likes to try to eat them. She's loads of entertainment!
