Fossil Creek is an 8 mile hike down a canyon near Strawberry. It's 4 miles in and 4 miles back out. I most definitely have decided next time I need to be more physically prepared.<br /><br />We had a pretty fun group come with us which included Bethany, Blake, Adam, Laurie, SueB, Keith and me. Sue and I have decided that we need to hike more often so we can have Superman legs and Supermodel butts! Oh my goodness though, I was so extremely sore the next morning. I could hardly walk I was so stiff! That was not good timing seeing as how Keith and I had to speak in church that day. But I still think I'd do it again. Here's a few of my favorite pictures from the trip:<br /><br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrT-IzbC3-Mkt_cIbp3881TS2uFUiXFtQpiRN7eq-AxdVXlTIC-mpBIsJePC2l5QnyuYPy3bB8UCpS6X6-dXFNzQ4j3prgdUfJG9dQ-r6Zr4k9pwsVagnWxSWUt4usxInP6tLT2L4UdtyA/s1600-h/100_1739.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjrT-IzbC3-Mkt_cIbp3881TS2uFUiXFtQpiRN7eq-AxdVXlTIC-mpBIsJePC2l5QnyuYPy3bB8UCpS6X6-dXFNzQ4j3prgdUfJG9dQ-r6Zr4k9pwsVagnWxSWUt4usxInP6tLT2L4UdtyA/s320/100_1739.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5349443675591228242" border="0" /></a>Here's my proof, I hiked with a backpack!<br /><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlz_lJSveyfOCUjOdJy2O93jjcICAlFVKwsnyaf18p6AulrQkIP01EXSkmyj_YNjuAtorokg7mdz7XQMJAJXkhwO57E4xgc5aPqwrbe_yre0vuIA9AO6BfqtDybyewSCNrIxxPoAgqdGjD/s1600-h/100_1795.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhlz_lJSveyfOCUjOdJy2O93jjcICAlFVKwsnyaf18p6AulrQkIP01EXSkmyj_YNjuAtorokg7mdz7XQMJAJXkhwO57E4xgc5aPqwrbe_yre0vuIA9AO6BfqtDybyewSCNrIxxPoAgqdGjD/s320/100_1795.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5349443667382551074" border="0" /></a>Here's Keith and I on our way out. Or at least I thought so anyway. I ended up googling it and found a video of instructions on youtube. But in the end I think it turned out pretty well. Keith even helped. He made lil rose buds out of the socks and baby washcloths. I was so proud. And everyone at the shower loved it! Here's my finished product. Not too bad for my first time. =)<br /><br /><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYl0r42OalQUU0kfZL5veNw734Eaxqo7e3HrHxkflaDKloJsd4jL0LFNrwjYcz6h0eg4nIy33GOxKhCyX5qsZ4M5M-fP5fvv_okmoKoluqCgEwJUHQqtWKceoWvihZk-tZC7hyylnidZ1r/s1600-h/cake.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5322001821424397314" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYl0r42OalQUU0kfZL5veNw734Eaxqo7e3HrHxkflaDKloJsd4jL0LFNrwjYcz6h0eg4nIy33GOxKhCyX5qsZ4M5M-fP5fvv_okmoKoluqCgEwJUHQqtWKceoWvihZk-tZC7hyylnidZ1r/s320/cake.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKl0I1jhmhu8duv9lftIQI7DFK59bWKMjxHrHfzPp_R_yitma8m5y4O0reEcEKjoYLhnhmgQzdLxaRLtrdnOmj9OmLBU8GXfIPCOKZDhs0kxeeFWmbkHkW09tzUNgv8vObnUJw4wDggCzl/s1600-h/100_1570%5B1%5D"></a><br /><br /><div></div></div>chrisaanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03870428354620796544noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1790813667447432166.post-8004477652563233082009-03-05T17:46:00.001-08:002009-03-05T18:05:10.927-08:00Hair-cut night @ the JonesIt's time for hair-cuts at the Jones! (And please before you scroll down to view the photos, disregard the background/mess that is shown in them. It's really not there....Really... It was my very first pruning experience and I rather enjoyed it. I did not however enjoy my experience with the pruning shears, as I received several blood blisters by the nasty lil' things! Voici, I have proof!<br /><br /><br /><br />Here's before I dissected my thumb:<br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5306562860776839778" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjk32Dl0Bpldc25Y67K8VfGCpcnvFO-jm-fuTA0nZAiJi5eyfz0A_FUd7c3wfJKska-gTJAR46FjwlW6UpbdrzaPknAhtXxdIiEgXKwSlXFDsZEodf4-KPfXZ6bXVI5hHAMdKZqouhvzB6i/s320/100_1421.JPG" border="0" /><br />And here's after:</p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5306564545490925554" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihPgY_WXHS9rGjon5yicFjw8_5eu6RwtakUfhtaOY4t0lpdk-ydnF1KPKvUC4eI4uDZIs4FdHoaw6M5mVgIlDoJLVotN6YwWfo5EVSOLUMnnHI4Dodl_ACkEyr0pOXOZg8GvmmyQ3EL5yt/s320/100_1439.JPG" border="0" /><br /><p></p><p>And... Here's the remains:</p><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5306565137180690530" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHiu6-0iz4SPby7U6tkDXMvJ84_EwAq_i-GDZEu-0sLD4_IcVWlFPFVb9upqU3RP1spY49k4wWssnpPSNkLmrHlZ3djBI5hADYQzDGUIXK0nR2dIM-atHSWG1PrjUBlp3TgmtrorAiMaoH/s320/100_1435.JPG" border="0" /></p><p>It was quite educational. Well for the next 3 weeks anyway until she gets married on the 24th. She's only been here for 2 days and it seems things have already gotten to another level of crazy. But I love it! She's so much fun and also, like me is a "at the last minute" kind of person thus there's loads to do until the big day. Hopefully we can manage to squeeze everything in.<br /><br />Friday, Holly and Ryan will come for their open house on Saturday.<br /><br />Brandon, Gina's fiance should be arriving at our house sometime around then too.<br /><br />Then on the 24th, my cousin Clay will be staying with us for 5 days or so.<br /><br />Hopefully this will prove the old adage of 'company being a lot like fish,' false. But we'll see! =)chrisaanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03870428354620796544noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1790813667447432166.post-75299738096970154822008-10-02T09:57:00.000-07:002008-10-02T09:59:38.884-07:00My new blog!So here's my new blog. I just created it at work today so it's not too exciting just yet. But hey at least I have one. <br /><br />So last night I was eating dinner while sitting on the couch and apparently the dogs were hungry cuz Bitsy wouldn't get out of my face. I told her to sit which she did and then she continued her begging. Then all of a sudden she started doing all these tricks. She'd lay down and roll over and dance in a circle without me telling her to or anything. She was sure hoping for some of my chicken alfredo. It was so cute and so funny. Who would've thought that dogs can be so entertaining? <br /><br />Is she a smart dog?
